Write to the membership office

What to do when the Portal cannot confirm your membership.

Licence: Membership (membership). Not every Portal offers membership enquiries.

When you book a travel or redeem a benefit, the Portal checks your member code. If it cannot confirm your membership, nothing is booked or redeemed. What you see next depends on the Portal:

  • A short message under the first step, saying that your membership could not be confirmed. Check your details and try again.
  • "Membership not confirmed": a step that shows your details again and offers two ways on.

Try again or write to the office

On "Membership not confirmed":

  1. Check the details shown, especially your member code and date of birth.
  2. If something is wrong, choose "Try again". You return to the form with everything as you typed it.
  3. If your details are right, write a message under "Notify the membership office" in "Your Message", tick that you have read the privacy policy and agree to it, and choose "Send".

Your enquiry is recorded and sent to the organisation's membership office, which gets back to you. You also receive a copy by email, with the enquiry's reference. Your enquiry is not a booking or a redemption: once your membership is sorted out, book or redeem again.

Common reasons

  • A typing error in the member code, or a date of birth that differs from the one the organisation has.
  • A member code that has changed, for example after a change of employment.
  • Membership data at the organisation that is not up to date yet.
